Meet Jan Kinslow

A Native San Diegan, Jan’s adult life began with the decision to stay home to raise her two boys.  During this time, she was actively involved with community and international non-profit organizations. Jan held volunteer positions with both school and youth sport programs.  She received the “Servant’s Heart Award” from one organization for her work over several spring breaks, supporting high school and college students build housing for the needy in Mexico.  In 2000, Jan and her husband founded and began operating a non-profit community facility supporting local children at Casey’s Place. Their support included daily before and after school programs, summer camps, and general support for other youth organizations. In 2008, Jan and her husband were awarded the “10 News Leadership Award”.  Prior to joining ChEARS, Jan worked for 7 years for an Acupuncture and Chiropractic Clinic as the Patient Care Coordinator managing all the needs of the patients and the office.  She enjoys serving the patients and building relationships with them. Jan currently spends her time supporting her family, friends, and the patients at ChEARS!
